Alternator Bracket for Small Block Chevy
Designed and built by Jake for his '29 Ford Pickup back in 1978, this simple alternator bracket for small block Chevys has stood the test of time...and miles. Designed for use with the "short" water pump, the bracket simply bolts on with intake manifold and water pump bolts. It does not require threaded holes in the head. Therefore, it works with all early style (265" - 283" - 327") heads as well as the later threaded style heads. This does NOT fit Vortec vertical manifold bolt style heads. The adjusting arm also bolts to the water pump. And the bracket clears heater hose outlets on stock style water pumps and most after market manifolds.

Generator Bracket for Small Block Chevy
You’ve got the tall skinny tires and that cool retro look...but that modern alternator sticks out like a sore thumb!

POWERMASTER makes the PowerGEN, a 75-amp alternator that looks like an original GM generator, and “JITNEY – Hop Up Parts by Jake” (aka Jim “Jake” Jacobs) makes these neat mounting brackets for small block Chevys (Nailhead Buick and others coming soon).

These brackets are available for either left or right side and position the short style (GM up to ’64) PowerGEN, or original DELCO-REMY generator, up top between valve cover and carburetion, well within the hood line of early rods.

Rearend Ladder Bars / Radius Rods Kit
Originally designed by Jake back in his Pete & Jake's days, this kit was redesigned by Jake by moving the bars down ½ inch for more clearance (for the exhaust) between the bars and the body floorpan.

This kit comes complete (or in separate pieces) straight to you! Personally built and TIG welded by the Jakeman himself, these bars feature urethane bushings at front, F.K. steel clevises, and grade 8 fasteners. The rearend plates fir 3-inch diameter housings. The 1 3/4 -inch diameter tube crossmember is 42 inches long with a 6 inch drop center. Kit includes: Ladder Bars & Hardware; 3-inch Diameter Housing Brackets; & Dropped Tube Crossmember
